Sun Guard Auto Tinting was the first auto tinting company to open in Collier County, and went full time in 1978. The owner, Peter Jenks, had the first tinted car when still in school in 1972. Since then, Sun Guard has installed window film on over 50,000 cars, SUV’s, pickups, motor homes, and marine vessels.

Factory tint will only reject a small amount of heat, but our ceramic films will attain an initial heat rejection of 95% when tested with a BUT meter!
Never Go Cheap!
Like anything else you can buy, if you go with a cheap price, you will get a cheap product. Cheap junk film rejects 6% of the total heat. Most shops carry them because they're very tempting at $250.00 a roll and they believe what the customer doesn't know won't hurt them.
Quality ceramic film rejects 80% of the total heat. At 3 times the cost, most shops won’t carry them. After I apply this film to your car, you will be in a comfort zone you have never experienced. Like most things in life, you always get what you pay for.
And one more thing. Never buy a car from a new car dealer that they had tinted or let them put it in the deal. You’ll only overpay for under performing film. Same when you select a Groupon price thinking you're doing yourself a favor.
